Dietary Requirements

Please ensure you inform us of your dietary requirements at least 24-hours prior to your tour.  If you have not provided us with your dietary requirements in advance, then the restaurant may not be able to cater for you.  This includes any pregnant ladies, and anyone with specific food allergies.  Wine for Dudes agrees to relay dietary requirements to venues, however it is the sole responsibility of the customer to confirm directly with the venue staff, on the day, that the contents of any food and drink offered is suitable and safe for the customer to consume.

IMPORTANT: WHILST EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO PREVENT CROSS-CONTAMINATION WITHIN THE RESTAURANT KITCHENS, NO RESTAURANTS THAT WE VISIT ON OUR TOURS CAN 100% GUARANTEE THAT THEIR MEALS ARE 100% ALLERGEN-FREE DUE TO MEALS BEING PREPARED IN THE SAME KITCHENS, AND COOKED IN THE SAME OVENS.

Responsible Consumption of Alcohol

Tour guests who are tasting alcohol must be 18+ years of age and should not drink alcohol 8 hours prior to tour. Tour drivers and Cellar Door staff are RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certified and keep a constant eye out for the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times. Passengers that endanger or disrupt this priority, will be warned and if necessary immediately removed from the tour. The wineries we visit are small boutique family run wineries where we are their guests and need to respect them by behaving accordingly. A good reputation among Cellar Doors for a safe and enjoyable experience, is a top priority for Wine for Dudes. Consuming alcohol is not permitted on or beside vehicles.

The Wine for Dudes fleet are charter licenced vehicles. Just like any other public transport vehicle, heavy fines apply for drinking on or beside the bus, to both passengers and drivers! All wineries and breweries have a ‘Producer Only License’ which means that only alcohol that can be consumed on the premises has to be made from that premises. Strict new RSA laws combined with public liability issues, mean that alcohol can only be consumed in specific designated areas at each premises. Although every effort will be made to include individual requests (ie: requests to stop at a specific wineries or breweries), in some cases not all requests can be catered for. We will do our best though! 🙂

Keeping in the Loop!

Wine for Dudes Wine Tours reserve the right to cancel the tour at our discretion due to factors beyond our control, including not reaching minimum passenger numbers. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MOBILE PHONES ON SO WE CAN CONTACT YOU in such cases, or please let us know alternative land line number, or phone us from a land line number the evening or morning of tour to check in, if you realise you have no mobile reception. There are many areas within the region without mobile reception. In such cases we will offer you to tour on the next available tour, an alternative tour of equal value, or a full refund.

Pick up times for regular group tours

Please note: pick up times are dependent on location, group size and other varying factors including winery requirements and business of the season (ie: peak season tours may need to start earlier to allow for possible delays throughout the day) – as we receive a lot of late bookings, it is difficult to plan this in advance unless a tour is already full, therefore we will send you a text message by 5pm, the day prior to your tour with your exact pick up time. If you make your booking the evening before, or morning of, your tour, please expect your sms shortly after 9am on the day of your tour when our office reopens.  Please note, pick ups that are well out of the way from the central Margaret River region (ie: Bunker Bay, Busselton, Witchcliffe, Prevelly, Gnarabup, Rosa Brook, and other places) may be much earlier, so please be prepared for an early collection.

Minimum Passenger Numbers

Tours are always a lot more fun with at least a couple of extra people.  We also need to make our tours are viable to ensure we can continue operating our iconic Margaret River wine tours.  We require at least four (4) passengers to operate our tours, or eight (8) passengers on public holidays.  Whilst your tour booking is confirmed at the time of payment, please be aware that if, in the extremely rare circumstance, we don’t achieve our minimum passenger numbers, your tour may be cancelled. We will give you as much notice as possible and rest assured we’ll do what we can to ensure you don’t go home without a taste of the Margaret River region.

Wine & Beer Adventure Tour Changes

In the rare circumstance that Wine for Dudes are unable to offer the itinerary advertised, an alternative itinerary will be offered to you. If you are not satisfied with the new offering and a solution can not be sort, your booking will be cancelled and you will be provided with a full refund. For example, if our regular lunch venue is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative, however we may not be able to provide the wine blending experience at another venue, in this case, we may offer a complimentary cheese platter of alternative.

Passenger Safety

Passengers are fully responsible for their own safety during their wine tour, and Wine for Dudes and the venues that you visit on tour, are not liable for any irritations or other medical conditions that you may experience from wine or other food and beverages that you consume during or after the tour, or reactions you have from grape stomping and immersion experiences.

Credit Card Security

Wine for Dudes may request credit card details to be retained as security for a booking if part of the group are paying cash on the day.  By providing credit card details as security, you acknowledge that you are taking responsibility for the full number of seats/vehicles booked, and if full payment of any outstanding amounts are not provided to the driver on the day of the tour by the passengers associated with the booking, then Wine for Dudes reserve the right to charge the credit card the full outstanding amount owing, including any cancellation fees as stipulated in our cancellation policy above.

Damage to Vehicles

Should a vehicle be damaged or soiled by a passenger and professional cleaning, repairs or maintenance is required to rectify the situation, the full charge of these costs, plus an additional 25% administration fee, and any additional ‘loss of business’ fees incurred from vehicles not being available to service future clients, may be charged to the passenger who made the booking for the group that caused the damage.

Severe Weather Cancellations

Wine for Dudes Wine Tours reserve the right to cancel a tour at our discretion due to factors beyond our control, which may include vehicle failure, bushfire, or severe weather warnings – please note, again, this is a very rare circumstance, and whilst our vehicles are extremely well maintained, we will not put the safety of our staff or customers in jeopardy.

Additional Requirements

We recommend smart casual attire.  Most wineries do not accept groups in dress-up costumes or outfits, and as such, neither can we.  A positive attitude, and a clear head are highly recommended to make the most of your day.  It is also recommended to bring a RE-USEABLE WATER BOTTLE especially during the hot Summer months (Wine for Dudes is committed to reducing waste to landfill, so please avoid single use water bottles where possible!).  Water bottles can be topped up at all venues, free of charge, and staying hydrated will allow you to last the distance! Note…water does not sober you up …it keeps you going!

Wine for Dudes have the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Please familiarise yourself with any changes.
