If you’re looking for a single day Margaret River Cruise Ship shore excursion that’s focused on exploring the delights of the world-renowned Margaret River wine region, and is filled with great variety and loads of fun, then Wine for Dudes Wine Tours Margaret River Cruise Ship Shore Excursion is the perfect day for you!
Wine for Dudes have always specialized in showcasing the boutique style of wineries, allowing you to get truly involved in the Margaret River wine scene through more personalised experiences from the winery host, which can often be the owner or winemaker themselves taking you through their range and sharing their personal experiences with you.
Dedicated to meeting the arrival and departure times of the cruise ship, our Margaret River Cruise Ship shore excursion will generally operate between 10am – 4pm, unless your specific ship dictates otherwise, in which case we will adjust the timing and advise you if required.
PLEASE NOTE: If your Margaret River / Busselton Cruise Ship Arrival Date is not showing in the availability calendar, please contact us to see if we can accommodate you, as some cruise arrivals are not registered on the schedule that we are provided.
Important Cruise Arrival Info:
Please allow AT LEAST 1.5 HOUR to disembark your cruise ship.
Your Margaret River cruise ship will arrive in the majestic waters of Geographe Bay, in Busselton (the northern end of the Busselton Margaret River region).
Geographe Bay is extremely shallow, and as a result, your vessel will need to moor several kilometres out in the bay.
You will first be brought via tender from your the ship to the end of the Busselton Jetty (a 20-30 minute journey depending on where your ship has to moor).
The Busselton Jetty is 1.84 kilometres long. You can either walk to shore or await a ride on the Jetty train (both options approximately 30 minute journey – however please allow more time if you need to wait for the train to return).

Wine for Dudes unique Wine Blending experience is an easy and fun opportunity to discover one of the most integral parts of the winemaking process… Blending Wines!
This unintimidating experience will give you a realistic understanding of what effect the blending of different varietals of the presented red wines actually has on the finished product, and also allows you the advanced opportunity to discover what varietal of wine you prefer from the wines as an individual.
At the end of the experiment you will have the opportunity to blend up your own unique concoction of wine to enjoy with your delicious winery lunch!

…and at Wine for Dudes, we will never skimp on lunch! Our crew will be spoilt for choice, with a scrumptious and hearty spread of incredible gourmet woodfired pizzas, with complimenting sides. Washed down with a glass of your own unique creation of wine that you will blend up yourself in our exclusive Wine Blending experience! Ooh la la!
We’re more than happy to cater for almost all dietary requirements, but we request that you please advise us of any allergies or dietary requirements you have at the time of booking. We may not be able to cater for you if your special requests if you don’t advise us until the day of the tour. Please also advise if you are pregnant and not eating processed meats or soft cheeses etc.

Wine for Dudes specialise in showcasing Margaret River’s smaller, more boutique style of wineries, which produce incredible wines, just on much smaller production scales.
We find the boutique wineries provide a more intimate, inclusive and personalised experience for our guests, resulting in a more adventurous day for our customers, and an intriguing opportunity to discover something new and unique.
At Wine for Dudes, no tour is the same. We change our itineraries daily, and take into consideration a large number of factors before locking in the final stops for each tour. And although we may not be able to provide you with the exact itinerary until the day prior to your tour (…and only if requested), you can be assured that our renowned experience of creating awesome tours, will ensure you have an epic Margaret River experience also!

Child Seats: we do not provide car seats, nor do our vehicles have anchor points. Some of our vehicles are exempt from car seat laws. Please ask before booking if the vehicle we are using will be suitable for your needs.
